Increase speed. Reduce cost. Eliminate conflicts. BIM advances the goals of conceptual estimating, and extends its benefits throughout the design and construction process.
Building a project on a screen before the jobsite is helping HWH and the industry revolutionize delivery and provide truly greater value. On the Dallas County Sub Courthouse in Grand Prairie, HWH and design partner GSR Andrade utilized BIM to create a detailed model from a schematic design, and quickly test various changes in materials and dimensions. In addition to facilitating a more accurate Guaranteed Maximum Price, BIM enabled clash detection and resolution, better coordination of trades, and faster decision-making in meeting budget and schedule requirements.
HWH is partnering with Texas A&M University Commerce in the adoption of tools and techniques for truly integrated, collaborative projects. This serves long-standing infrastructure goals while taking building to new levels of productivity.
