Christina Watson, P.E., LEED AP BD+C
Christina leads the HWH engineering team within the construction and industrial services group. Her role includes developing innovative and effective structural designs utilizing a range of analysis methods, as well as making recommendations for the repair and improvement of existing structures. She joined HWH in 2013, following project management roles for several engineering and construction firms in Connecticut. Christina also served as an engineering officer in the Connecticut Army National Guard, where she led a 112-soldier engineer bridge company, and deployed to Iraq as a technical consultant. Earlier she served as a platoon leader and operations officer in the U.S. Army, based in Fort Carson, CO. She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut, with a Masters Degree in Business Administration, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute, with a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering. She also volunteers as a disaster service worker for the California Emergency Management Agency (Cal EMA) and is a LEED Accredited Professional. Christina is licensed in the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi, and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Institute of Steel Construction and the Army Engineer Association.
